I watched this the other day with mixed expectations due to reading the other reviews on here.
I was kinda looking forward to this movie having seen some of the media pictures and after watching 15mins of it,
It blows me away that people thought this movie was, “surprisingly good.” It’s not. It’s bad. Really really bad. Lets put it this way, I have not walked out of a movie in who knows how long, since Ishtar? And this was that bad.
This brought back memories of the Jeeper Creeper without the big monster in it but it sure had the villain.
The premise of this movie is actually somewhat interesting, even though it’s pretty clearly “borrowed” from Frequency. I’m sure it was pitched as “Frequency meets 100 Feet (the Eric Red movie from 2008)”. It’s not the worst idea I’ve heard,

One would be to keep churning ‘em with a straight face like Saw did, so presume the whole plot still matters while the tacit understanding is that you’re serving us a bunch of gruesome deaths once a year and we show up because we’re curious cats.
